"New tools for Live Cell Imaging of Deep Tissue"

This presentation will describe biological applications of recent developments in reporter molecules and photonics. Examples from multiphoton excitation, new lens technologies and targeted laser stimulation combined with biological tools such as "Smart Probes" and photo-convertible fluorescent proteins will illustrate methods for imaging cellular processes in vitro and in vivo.
