USIF will host the ASM/ASME Joint Meeting this week. FORENSIC ENGINEERING - Join us for an exciting evening of fun and mystery as we delve into the exciting world of forensic engineering. We'll start with a basic intro to the industry followed by an interactive session where we'll present actual failed components from real engineering investigations. Next, we'll browse some photos together of some engineering failures and see who can figure out "what's wrong with this picture?" We'll discuss careers in forensic engineering and how your company might benefit from forensic science. Next, we'll take a short walk to the finest high-tech imaging lab in town in the UA Marley building. Here, we'll witness an actual demo of SEM, EDS, and other exciting equipment before your very eyes. Learn how your company can use this state-of-the-art imaging facility and collaborate with the finest minds in town. There is something for everyone here! We encourage you to come out and enjoy dinner and a good time with all of us for this very exciting evening. See you there! Speakers: Alan Rose, Al Agellon, Dr. Supapan Seraphin. Flyer.
